WE Day at Cap U is this Wednesday.  Whether you can attend or not, I expect you to spend some time informing yourself.   Here's what you must do:

1.  Check Wikipedia's description of Free the Children Foundation so you know who and what it is:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_the_Children

2.  What is WE Day all about and why is there so much fuss about it?

3.  Go to the Free the Children site below and find out what social justice issues are top of the list for this organization:

4.  Have a look at this site for a list of issues that many service organizations tackle:

5.  Look at this student's response to becoming informed:

Another really inspirational clip!

Free the Children and ME to WE encourage young people to come up with ways to positively change the world.

6.  Come up with at least ONE idea for an activity, event, campaign or action that would support positive change on some issue you feel strongly about.  You don't have to invent something new.  See what others are doing that has been effective.  How would you measure what really has a positive effect, and what doesn't really change anything?
